CGA members are an active lot, out and about enjoying social affairs and informative financial seminars, not to mention being good sports on the golf and race courses of our green and pleasant land.

  • Van Gogh Exhibition
    Van Gogh Exhibition

    In 2010, for three months only, The Royal Academy will stage the first major Van Gogh exhibition in London for more than 40 years, and CGA Members can be a part of this important event.

    We are offering two nights' accommodation, for 26 to 28 March, at the four-star Thistle Hotel, Marble Arch, in London, full 
    English breakfast and one dinner, a welcome drink and introductory talk, two-course lunch with wine on Saturday and Sunday, travel by executive coaches with a professional guide, and - best of all - Van Gogh Exhibition tickets and Gallery Guide for an out of hours visit to Syon Park.

  • Knebworth House private opening
    Knebworth House private opening

    CGA Members are invited to a private opening, guided tour and luncheon at Knebworth House, Hertfordshire, on 21st April, 2010.

    Knebworth has been the home of the Lytton family since 1490. Robert Lytton, the Viceroy of India who proclaimed Queen Victoria Empress of India at the Great Delhi Durbar of 1877, lived here, as did his daughtr, Constance Lytton, the suffragette.

    The interior of the house includes the magnificent Jacobean Banqueting Hall, the High Gothic State Drawing Room by John Grace, and the elegant Regency bedroom of Mrs Bulwer-Lytton. 

    The cost for the day is £51, all inclusive.

  • Worshipful Company of Fishmongers
    Worshipful Company of Fishmongers

    The Fishmongers' Company is one of the Twelve Great Livery Companies of the City of London and amongst the most ancient of the City Guilds, having existed for more than 700 years.

    CGA Members are invited to a private opening of the Fishmongers' Hall on 4th June, 2010. Lunch will be served in the Court Room followed by a guided tour.

    The cost is £56.
