Since its foundation in 1893
the CGA has existed to serve and benefit its members. It is
an organisation where courtesy and standards still matter,
which relishes the challenges of the modern day whilst continuing
to appreciate traditional values.
People of nearly all ages will find a myriad
of reasons to belong to the CGA. You may wish to unwind in
the calm oasis of a private London club, source the very best
financial advice, visit a fine stately home that’s rarely
open to the public, save thousands when buying a new car or
just simply relax and enjoy the members’ exclusive magazine.
It is also an organisation with a charitable
heart and members are kept up to date with the CGA’s
support of several under-funded young sportsmen and women.
Alongside this, the CGA Charitable Foundation makes regular
grants to a wide variety of worthy causes, often of a smaller
and local nature, throughout the country.

Whilst traditional values are deeply entrenched
in the way the CGA conducts its business, there is not the
slightest hint of any stuffiness. Both ladies and gentlemen
have been welcomed to membership for more than one hundred
years and it couldn’t be easier to join. Whatever attracts
you to the CGA we are confident you will agree that it’s
one of those best-kept secrets that everybody should know
about.
