Events

CGA events have been held regularly for more than one-hundred years. Today the nationwide array of events includes private openings of stately homes, golf days, wine tastings, race days, financial seminars, country fairs and straight forward social gatherings. We always look forward to welcoming members to these carefully organised occasions and members are welcome to bring guests to the vast majority of events.

EXCLUSIVE CHARITY CLAY PIGEON SHOOT
IN ASSOCIATION WITH SUNSEEKER YACHTS

Supported by luxury yacht company Sunseeker London, the annual clay-pigeon Caudwell Children Charity Shoot Challenge is to be held for the second year at the prestigious Royal Berkshire Shooting School.

Sunseeker are delighted to give CGA members an exclusive opportunity to purchase tickets to the event held at the most attractive shooting grounds in the country where the undulating woodland setting offers a variety of stimulating game shooting. Along with the expertise of the organisers, it makes for an exceptional day's shooting, as well as an enjoyable way to raise money for charity. Twenty five teams of four people will compete, with every gun shooting at least 80 clays, including flushes, over a wide variety of stands. The day will commence at 9.00am with a hearty breakfast of bacon butties, coffee and fruit juices. After the shoot there will be a Tattinger champagne reception and seated three-course luncheon, followed by a charity auction and prize-giving, ending at 4.45pm.

Even if you have never shot before, under the guidance of highly qualified instructors you’re guaranteed to hit some clays and have a fun day! The priorities of the day will be socialising, informality and fun.

  • Enter a team of four guns for the day at a total of £1,500 including breakfast, champagne reception, four guns and a three-course lunch.
  • All monies raised at the event will go directly towards helping disabled children throughout the UK.
